2. Read Witness- pages 65-84.
3. Worked on C level tasks- since I was gone on Monday I've extended the due date to Friday March 20th.

C level tasks are now due on Friday!

Thursday, March 12th

1. Daily Opener
2. Read Witness pages 42-61. Discussed and added to notes about characters.
3. Notes- The Roaring 20s: Republican Decade
4. Worked on C level tasks and did oral defenses.

Remember C level tasks are due Wednesday the 18th.

Tuesday, March 10th

1. Daily Opener.
2. Read pgs. 22-41 in Witness and continued filling out notes about the characters.
3. Notes: The Roaring 20s- Cultural Tensions (I am currently unable to upload it so if you need a copy of it you can email me at connolly_caryn@salkeiz.k12.or.us)
   
4. Worked on C level tasks and did oral defenses.

Thursday, March 5th

1. Daily Opener
2. Began reading Witness. We'll read approximately 20 pages a day together in class. For each character in the book you need to document the role they play and their attitude towards the KKK.
3. Activity- 1920s Slang Skits. Worked in groups of 3 or 4 and created short skits using 8 slang words from the 1920s.
4. Notebook Checks- worth 20 points
   

Tuesday, March 3rd

1. Daily Opener
2. Activity- Create a KWL chart for the 1920s. Divide your paper into 3rds, label the column on the left 'K', the middle column 'W', and the right column 'L'. In the K column write everything you know or think you know about the 1920s. In the W column write what you would like to know about the 20s. The 'L' column will be filled out at the end of the unit.
3. Video- The 1920's: Beyond the Glitter
4. Worked on C level tasks.
