Monday, March 31st

Began 1920s Multimedia Project presentations. We didn't finish so those groups that didn't go will need to go on Wednesday the 2nd.

Announcement: 1920s Unit Test will be April 9th.

Thursday, March 20th

1. Turned in "Rumrunners" video questions.
2. Went to the library and worked on 1920s Multimedia Project.

Presentations will by March 3st.

Tuesday, March 18th

Went to the library and worked on the 1920s Multimedia project.

Project presentations are March 31st.

Friday, March 14th

1. Groups performed their slang skits and we discussed the slang words and what slang can tell you about any given generation.
2. 1920s Multimedia Presentation Project- broke into 7 groups. Each group has a different social change topic from the 1920s and is preparing a 5 to 7 minute presentation that incorporates at least 3 different types of media. Presentations are due March 31st. We will be going to the library to do additional research on the 18th and 20th but you should be doing research on your own.

Wednesday, March 12th

I was gone but here is what the substitute did:

1. Turned in Chapter 13 Section 3 questions.
2. Watched video The Century- Boom to Bust and answered questions. Turned the questions in when the video was finished. See me to arrange a time to make this up.
3. Activity: 1920's Slang Skits- broke into groups and wrote 2 skits based on slang, one using 1920s words and then a modern day version. Words were given to each group. Skits were then performed on Friday. If you were gone then you need to see me to arrange a make-up assignment.

Monday, March 10th

I was gone but here is what the substitute did:

1. Turned in Chapter 13 Section 2 questions.
2. Showed video Rumrunners, Moonshiners, and Bootleggers and did a study guide as you watched. Didn't finish the video, we'll finish it on the 18th and turn in the questions.
3. Assignment: Read Chapter 13 Section 3 and do questions 1-8.

Wednesday, March 5th

I was gone but here is what the substitute did:

1. 1920s Centers- broke into groups and looked at various documents and answered questions about them. Need to see me to make arrangements to make this up.
2. Assignment: Read Chapter 13 Section 2 and do questions 1-6.

Monday, March 3rd

1. PPT- The 1920's: An Overview
2. Notebook Checks- worth 25 points
3. Assignment: Read Chapter 13 Section 1 and do questions 1-5 on pg. 458. Due Wednesday.
4. Turned in Chapters 13 and 14 Vocabulary

** All missing work is due by 3:30 p.m. on March 6th. I will not accept missing work after the 6 week grading period is over.
