1. Read Finn Reardon- continue working on character list. We are almost finished so make sure you've gotten anything you might have missed. There will be a test on it next week.

Analyzed Labor vs. Monopoly political cartoon- no assignment
Worked on study guide for Wednesday's test- you may use a 3x5 notecard on the test, everything must be handwritten on it and you need to turn it in when you take your test

2nd Period:
Read Finn Reardon- continue working on character list
Discussed Chapter 6 Section 4
Listened to song "Drill Ye Tarriers" and discussed working conditions/unions
Activity: Timeline of Industrial Revolution
  • Needs to include events/items related to: major inventions/innovations, legislation, labor unions, and strikes.
  • Use Chapter 6 for information.
  • Must have at least 10 events/items on timeline.
  • For each event/item you must write 2-3 sentences identifying the item and it's significance.
  • Must include the date for each item.
  • Due Monday the 29th.
3rd and 4th Periods:
Same as 2nd except we finished the PPT from Friday and didn't listen to the song.

All Classes: Industrial Revolution test has been moved to October 31st.
